I'm not sure just what I'm doing wrong, but for some reason, Google will not approve my application for AdSense on my blog. I'm going to have to look into this problem on a more detailed basis, and reread all the information that there is. I've tried with three different blogs, and the results are the same. If anyone knows how to improve my blog about working at home and home-based businesses, please let me know.
Otherwise, all the other things I'm learning about media placement and how to drive people to my sites are very helpful.

Work at Home and Spend time with Your Pets
Hi,
One of the benefits I find with the idea of working from home with a home-based computer/Internet business, is that I can spend more time with my two 12-year old cats - TC (for Topcat) and Sweetie. After only knowing a small two-bedroom apartment in Schiller Park, Illinois as home for 12 years, I moved my two babies (the cats) to a new townhome in Zion, Illinois in June 2008. Let's just say that the moving experience was just that an "experience". The babies didn't like the car ride (took about one hour), and didn't care for the new home. They hid for several days, especially when the furniture was delivered, the cable tv/internet was set up, phone service was installed, etc. They couldn't stand the noise and confusion. However, as of Christmastime 2008, after about six months in their new home, they have found new favorite spots and now seem to be acclimated to their new home.
One of the things that I think helped them the most, was that I was home for most of the time, except when I had to go to Super WalMart for all the necessities one needs when moving to a new home. Because I was with them for at least 22 to 23 hours a day at the beginning, they began to feel more comfortable with their surroundings, and knew where to find me for reassurance and attention. One downfall, however, was that in the beginning I had to feed one baby upstairs in the bathroom, while the other baby only wanted to eat on the main floor in the kitchen. Now, both babies move freely on all levels of the townhome, but want to eat wherever they happen to be when they are hungry. Thus, I now have food dishes all over the house.
But, if it makes my babies happy - I'm more than happy to accommodate them. They bring me such joy, happiness and unconditional love, that whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable is reasonable.
Being able to work at home, lets me spend more time with the cats, and they can come say "hello" to me whenever they want to, or to get a treat, or to petted, or to just sit on my lap or my computer.
I'm sure that working at home would also be good, if you have children at home that want attention, or an aging parent that might need some in-home care. Think about the opportunities that would be open to you, if you were working from home.
